Web Identity takes security serious and provides this statement to inform you of our intent on security measures in regards to our customers personal and financial information.

Online Security

We use SSL Secure Socket Layer Encryption whenever personal or financial data is transmitted via the internet. Our servers are scanned for vulnerabilities by our service providers to ensure a safe network is in place and that all PCI Standards are in compliance. We will never ask you, nor should you provide any information via the internet when not on secure pages for your protection. Secure pages are recognizable by looking in the address bar for the page you are on, if you the address starting with https:// then the page is secure, if you just see http:// with no "s" then it is not secure and your should not enter any person or financial data.

Data regarding you and your account is held in our offices both online and offline, but under strict supervision and scrutiny. Your data is on a secure network in password protected databases where only select personnel has access to your data. Our network is maintained and monitored by military trained internet computerized specialist trained in operating in a secure environment and in protection of classified networks. Each member of our staff has a personally identifyable password to access the information so that activity can be monitored. All personal is required to go through personal background checks at the time of employment and has signed privacy policies regarding the use of, storage, and handling of your personal and financial data.

Access to financial information is limited to your personal address and phone number, expiration date and only the last four digits of your credit card number to further protect your financial data. Recurring billing is set up through our banking partner where your entire card number is kept for future sales but unable to be viewed by our staff.

Offline Security

We employ several methods to protect your data in our offices. We never keep credit card information on file and any and all credit card data received is entered directly into our online system where it is protected by SSL Encryption Technologies. Personal and account pertinent data is keep on file in our offices where only one file is allowed out to any given trust specialist at a time. All files are kept under lock and key and all files are returned to a locked file at the end of the work day. Our offices are alarmed and monitored for any security breach on the premises where the police are notified upon breach or suspected breach. Any data that is no longer needed as a part of your account or file is immediately shredded or destroyed. Web Identity takes protection of financial and personal data as extremely important and has enacted this security statement to prove our commitment to your safety.
